Consultation - At the initial meeting we will discuss your landscaping needs, and dreams, and do a preliminary assessment of your site. We'll establish priorities, likes and dislikes and discuss how you want to use your yard.
It is also wise to have a discussion about your budget for the project.
If an on-site consultation is all that is needed, and no further designing or maintenance proposal is required, you will simply be charged for the time spent thus far and a copy of any relevant notes or diagrams created in response to your questions will be shared with you.
Estimate for Landscape Design - A written Proposal outlining the scope of the intended design work and its cost will be forwarded to you for your approval. This could include time spent with you, measuring and taking photos, and actual design time. Once the Proposal has been signed and returned, with the deposit, the preparation of a base map will begin. This is a diagram, to scale, showing property lines, buildings and other features currently on your site, and is the starting point for your Landscape Design.
Design Presentation - At the next scheduled meeting we will discuss your new Landscape Design. Larger designs may be in the schematic stage – an overview indicating the features to be included and how they are connected. Smaller designs may be complete by this time. Both could include a rough estimate of materials and/or installation. This would be the time to discuss any possible changes that might be needed. Once agreement has been reached about your Design a final copy will be available to you on payment of the final amount due.
