Rosalie began her career in the landscaping industry in 1990; for more than 25yrs she has been creating landscape designs, supervising installations and servicing projects for homeowners and small businesses in and around the Twin Cities area.
Growing up in New Zealand on an apple orchard, downhill skiing and racing sail boats (hobbies that continue today) it was easy to develop a love of the outdoors. Rosalie established her first garden at age 10 yrs with cuttings from her piano teacher’s garden. She loved the teacher's plants more than the piano lessons.
She has studied Horticulture and Design at the University of Minnesota, been a Certified Professional with the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA), been a member of the McKay Nursery Co. Advisory Council, and worked with the “HOMETIME” production crew creating the designs and advising for two shows about Landscaping for homeowners. Rosalie is currently a member of the MNLA and the Minnesota Horticultural Society (MSHS). She regularly attends seminars presented by these organizations and enjoys the opportunity to mix with her peers in the industry and keep current with changing trends, new plants, products and problems ( e.g. emerald ash borer, water conservation etc).
Rosalie enjoys the process of working with a client to create the outdoor environment of their dreams with a design that is both beautiful and functional, and supervising installation services that make the dream become a reality.
